Over time, trace minerals in tap water can leave behind limescale deposits, affecting the look of your tapware. Here’s how to restore its flawless finish:
Step 1
Dampen a microfibre cloth with warm water and gently wipe the affected area to remove stains and residue.
Step 2
For stubborn spots, use a mild natural acid, such as citric acid. Instead of spraying directly on your tapware, soak a cloth in the solution and wrap it around the problem area to let it soak.
Step 3
Once the limescale has dissolved, rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
If your shower isn’t flowing evenly, the aerator might be blocked with limescale or debris. Use these steps to get it back to peak performance:
Step 1
Use the spanner provided during installation to remove the aerator from the showerhead.
Step 2
Soak the aerator in warm water with a natural citric acid solution to dissolve buildup.
Step 3
Rinse thoroughly and reinstall the aerator. Your shower flow should now be restored.
Is your showerhead spraying water in odd directions? It’s likely caused by sediment buildup. Here’s how to fix it quickly:
Step 1
Gently rub the nozzles sideways to dislodge any sediment. Test the flow to check if the problem is resolved.
Step 2
For more stubborn buildup, unscrew the showerhead and soak it in warm water with citric acid.
Step 3
Rinse thoroughly and reinstall the showerhead for a like-new shower experience.
